Hi there! It is what the title is suggesting. But let me get in depth about it. This applies to textures, GUI's, and anything else that uses decals of sorts. Now yes, without a resolve, I would expect this would cause lag for a large variety of users across ROBLOX. Well, the solution for that is a Texture/Decal quality bar. Seperate from the overall game quality bar. By doing this, it would allow for an isolation of scalable detail. How to explain this... Basically saying, "I want all my graphics set to low quality. But, I want to keep textures and decals at max quality." As for the standpoint of higher res. decals and textures, I would expect them to range from 1080i/p to whatever. As I see it, I don't think there should be an exact limit. Additional details on the texture/decal bar; while being able to scale up or scale down on the quality, what iwould do is divide the pixle couint of image, of course. Any useful feedback would be greatly appreciated. Not supportive? Please state your reasoning.

Opinions are opinions. You have to think though, this feature would be implemented quite easily I would hope. Plus, you could persay create more suitable muzzle flash effects. I don't expect to get much out of this thread, due to lack of detail and inspiration of what you could do. On another note; an addition to the thread : Having billboard GUIs disappear client side if you do not have direct sight of the source.

Forgot to add to that last addition, I'm aware that it is possibly scriptable. But thought it would be just easier on scripters that are willing to do such an effect. Easy and simple.

I have no querell with one who is trying to cause trouble. And this thread is merely about complaining. It just a suggestion. If ROBLOX does or doesn't want to put it in that's fine by me. And I am very aware of having the ability to disable a billboard GUI. Now no, I admit I did not check for any scripts that were capable of doing this. In fact, I haven't thought of it until now. I would like if you peacefully left the thread if you have nothing nice to say.

Support! Also they need to remove the bevels shown on decals too. WHenever I upload something transparent, some of the sides show a bevel, annoying as heck. This is also what makes custom skyboxes have that box around it.

Please, as I said, if you're going to be disrespect, leave the thread. As for uploading closest to a high res. decal, the highest you can get by uploading it via a t-shirt, rather than uploading it as you normally would. I know my whereabouts of ROBLOX. I have my reasons for putting up this thread. It is a suggestion. You clearly did not read it thoroughly.

I don't get the suggestion. As Janthran pointed out, unless they've turned it off, the maximum decal resolution was changed to 1024x1024 (or more) from what it was. This is plenty in my opinion.

-Sigh- Not sure how you don't get it. Basically increasing the max pixle count to either an unlimited state, or far higher. Restating what I said in the original post, also having a bar into which you can adjust the quality of decals. Please read the entire thread.
