Okay i understand that if i have a decal change texture rapidly it can make a movie.
But it lags and well it pretty much is pointless to use thats why you rarely see it.
Well if we could play a youtube video on a screen gui it could fix the lag and people can't really a abuse it if this was added:

You can make scenes similar to videos by manipulating the camera. Play Terra Novus and find out. |

Reasons this is a bad idea:
1) Less creativity. Players could just paste a bunch of videos and not even build the game hardly at all.
2) Abusers. Video spamming would lag up older computers or those with slower internet. Also, they might make a game solely of videos.
3) Lag. Lots of videos would take a long time to load, and cause immense game lag.
4) Bad videos that get through the moderation. Yes, bad things get past the mods. People could put bad videos in their games and children would see it.
Overall, this is not a good idea. |
