Ok, I'm a little confused. Whenever I try to join a game in ROBLOX, everything loads fine as usual, except one big thing . . . I cannot see text. I can't see the words on anything in-game, including usernames (Leaderboard and in Workspace), player chat, gui text, and even the Game Menu button text!
I'm not sure exactly what the problem is, but I could guess. A while back I guess since a Roblox update all part textures broke on my computer, so I could only see plastic (no grass, wood, metal, etc.) This was a problem due to my pc's bad graphics that I can't really fix. No textures was annoying, but I got used to it eventually. I suspect that this "can't see text" thing is another graphics problem, but I don't know for sure.
If anyone is experiencing similar problems or can enlighten me on the issue, please help. Especially if you have any advice on how to fix it, other than updating my graphics (I can't really do that for definite reasons.) I really hope it's not an unfixable graphics problem, but if it is, then it is. Unfortunately, with graphics this bad, I might have to temporarily leave ROBLOX until I can get better graphics (and that would be a while.) I hope it doesn't come to such circumstances.

Well if its a graphics problem, If you got a graphics card, you could take that to your local device store and have them check it out. P.S. If your a kid ask your parents to drive you over there. |

I don't think this is being affected by the maintenance. My best guess is that it is a graphics problem. But like I said, I can't really do much about it then, because I've already asked about it, and apparently my graphics are unfixable to my ability right now.
I'm just asking for any clarity or possible other ways to get around this wall. |

You've only told us what and how has this been happening, not specifically when. When was the last time you played without any occurrence of technical issues? |

One of my cousins had a laptop that had prevented me from playing ROBLOX because of an outdated driver. It gave me the wrong answer--turns out, it was really her Anti-Virus software's protection. Try to disable your Anti-Virus protection and then try again, and then re-install ROBLOX. |

About the when: About a week ago (3/22/2014), my internet shut off and I had to wait a while for somebody to fix it. They finally fixed it on Wednesday (3/26/2014). Before my internet shut off, Roblox was working fine. Then when I came back after it had been fixed, I tried to join a game. It said Roblox was updating first, so I waited like usual whenever Roblox gets an update. Then I joined the game and the graphics were all mesed up.
Roblox works [3/21] > Internet shuts off [3/22] > Doesn't use Roblox [3/22 - 3/25]

So what should I do now? I was thinking about trying to re-install Roblox or try changing some settings according to a video i saw online, but i'm not certain that either of those will work. |

Apparently other people are having problems too, but some people are only having partial text bugs, instead of all text missing like me. I hope the mods fix it. |

Still the same, but I think most people's problems are slowly improving, while mine is going nowhere fast.
It's likely a problem I need to fix on my end.
I don't know much about technical computer stuff, and neither does anyone I know, but after some research online, I think I found a possible solution with updating my graphic drivers.
I'm going to try it as soon as I get time to. This option seems more promising than previous ideas, but I don't have much hope left in me anymore. Anyhow, i'm going to try it.

Is it really being fixed? Because It seems like 99% of everyone else's problems are only partial problems ,like missing letters in chat, which are slowly being improved. And my problem is I still can't see any in-game text anywhere, which is not getting any better. My graphics are completely broken and nothing has improved . . . not even since I recently updated my graphics drivers. |

I'm pretty sure this problem is not going to be fixed any time soon. Most likely being an unfixable problem on my end, I will probably be temporarily leaving Roblox until I can get a better computer. I might check back every once in a while, but I will probably be highly inactive.
I hope I won't be gone so long that I forget about Roblox.
It may be a long time, but i'm sure I will be back. Farewell Robloxians. |
