The "no one fails" policy? It's where if you fail a class, your grade is automatically bumped up to some failing grade, but they claim it's passing and move you own to the next grade or class. |

Guy with 9%
Which level LA are you in |

In elementary and middle school, the no fail policy was even worse. But it kinda helps so I kinda appreciate it. It's when if you get a 59 or below on an assignment, that grade will be a 59. So let's say you don't turn in a homework sheet. That grade turns into a 59 even tho you never turned it in. In high school, if you didn't turn in something, it stays a 0 in the gradebook. |

you might not have the same level system as I do
level 3- modified (for the ungifted)
level 2- regular
level 1- for those who are wizzes ( i could get into this is i actually tried for school, kinda gave up after grade 11 assignments couldn't get over 10%) |

thats cheating. in my school, 65% or lower is failing and you are held back. |

My system works like this:
10-1 AP (Advanced)
10-1 (Standard level)
10-2 (For people who got below 50 in Gr 9)
And I'm not sure what's below those. 10-3, 10-4 |

i asked different teachers to mark my assignments
my average with them was 90-97%
like omg |

I believe it is just in Canada that below 50% is failing. Below 65% isn't failing here. |

obbersJoin Date: 2010-05-31 Post Count: 7625 |
below 50% is the normal failing grade. my school is really strict apparently. there is also a standardized test that, if you do not pass, gets you held back. |

fellex that same thing sort of happened to me this year except i dont make a 10% i make a 65% which is still bad for me |
|
fellexJoin Date: 2008-05-27 Post Count: 16686 |
failing here is anything below 60%
it was 50% until the 1990's |

i refuse to believe that your teacher has an 80 point discrepancy between her grades on your work and other teachers grading your work |

i got the other level 2 teachers for it, because my assignments were very well done (at least all my proof reader classmates said so)
and i got suspicious |
