Offseason:
First, I will ask the owners if they want to continue owning the team. If they say no, they can either enter the draft or stay on the team but with another player owning it. I will first check the team for any responsible players, see if any of them want to own the team, and if not, I'll look for anyone who's leaving a team to own them.
Then, owners can keep up to 4 of their players. This means a team going into the draft can have anywhere from 0-4 players if the owner wants to start fresh (probably going to keep at least 1 player). The draft will happen, but for every extra player past the 4 required the owner got rid of, they get a "round 2.5 pick", which means they get a draft pick in between rounds 2 and 3. Every draft will be a 4 round draft, with the round 2.5 picks also.
There will also be an unlimited # of draftees, so for the first time in ISL history, not everyone will be drafted. There will be a pool of "free agents", where an owner can drop one of his players who is inactive/not playing well to pick up someone who's not on a team, as every team will have a roster of 9 players at all times. |

Fixed Offseason:
First, I will ask the owners if they want to continue owning the team. If they say no, they can either enter the draft or stay on the team but with another player owning it. I will first check the team for any responsible players, see if any of them want to own the team, and if not, I'll look for anyone who's leaving a team to own them.
Then, owners have to get rid of at least 3 of their players. This means a team going into the draft can have anywhere from 0-5 (around there) players if the owner wants to start fresh (probably going to keep at least 1 player). The draft will happen, but for every extra player past the 4 required the owner got rid of, they get a "round 2.5 pick", which means they get a draft pick in between rounds 2 and 3. ISL Rulebook:
There are no fouls.
If you complain, or do a blatant EA, it's a yellow.
If you kick an extra ball onto the field, it's a straight up red.
Starting a Game
--------------------
A game can go at any time as long as 3 players AND an owner/player allowed to start a game agrees.
Times
--------
Halves are 9 minutes long. The clock only stops in the last minute of a half. If tied after both halves, it goes to overtime, which is 5 minutes. If tied after overtime, it goes to a penalty shootout. There are 3 shots each for each team in the regular season, 5 in the playoffs.
Points
--------
Win = 2 Points
Overtime Loss = 1 Point
Loss = 0 Points
EA Rule
----------
After a goal is scored, or a half starts or overtime or anything like that, the players on the team who scored may not touch the ball until it crosses the midfield line. If the team who was scored on is ahead in goals and is taking too long, a Delay of Game is given and the scoring team gets the ball back automatically.
Penalty shot
---------------
If a penalty shot is given, only one player can be on the pitch for both teams, a shooter and a goalkeeper. The shooter gets 30 seconds to score a goal, and if he doesn't, I will give the signal for everyone to come on, but play does not stop. The goalkeeper cannot live the big goalkeeper box, and if he does, the penalty is redone (if he doesn't score).
Offseason:
2 Season Rule
--------------
Any player with 2 seasons played for one team may leave if he/her wants to.
3 Season Rule
-----------------
A team may only have one player with 3 seasons of experience. |

I will first check the team for any responsible players, see if any of them want to own the team, and if not, I'll look for anyone who's leaving a team to own them.
Then, owners have to get rid of at least 3 of their players. The draft will then happen, but for every player that decides to leave on their own (must have played at least 2 seasons for the team) the team gets a "1.5 round" draft pick. Every draft will be a 3 round draft, with the round 1.5 picks also.
After the draft:
There will also be an unlimited # of draftees, so for the first time in ISL history, not everyone will be drafted. There will be a pool of "free agents" who were players left undrafted. If an owner has less than 9 players, he can add ONE free agent every week until either the pool runs out/his team reaches 9 players. If an owner has more than 9 players, he can release any of his players to go into the market, but has to keep at least 9 of his players. In short, any team with less than 9 players may add a FA every week, a team with 9 players may only transfer players in and out, and a team with more than 9 players is not allowed to use the free agent market. The market closes after week 3 is finished, and the trade deadline is the end of week 4. |
