Hello, I would like to inform the ROBLOX Team about the External Ads that are displayed to Non-BC members. I lost my Builders Club recently, and I'm glad I did because I have come to realize that, there are some advertisements being shown on ROBLOX that aren't for children's eyes. I have seen ads about, Loosing weight quickly, getting rid of wrinkles in a bizarre way, and one giving people awareness about assaulting others in a... I don't know how to put it with out violating any rules. But my point is, these advertisements are being shown to young kids throughout ROBLOX. I imagine more younger people do not have BC then older people. And the fact that these advertisements are being shown to children who are in my opinion, to young to understand these things and witness them in adverts coming from other companies. I know that, the advertisements are probably helping to keep ROBLOX going but, is is really worth showing children these ads for money? I'm not sure if you were aware of these ads being shown, most sites don't. I just want you to be aware of the situation since I know you aim for ROBLOX to be child friendly. I'm not saying people should't be aware of such assaults, but I really don't think young children should witness that. If I'm being totally wrong on all of this then I accept that, its just my own personal opinion. I thank you for reading this forum though. |

Adverts ran on this site, which are shown to NBC members, are ran by Google AdSense. Google AdSense targets adverts based on the content of the page, your search history, and your browser history (last time I looked). Due to how Google targets them they're usually appearing because of what you have searched/sites that you have gone to - aka your fault.

I don't thin all ads are based on search history. I'm seeing one now about car insurance and I'm too young to even drive. |

I've heard it's also about local things that are trending, so maybe someone on your street has been searching these things, however I know it's partly based on your search history as I looked up some hockey goalie gear and I got some hockey adverts on other websites |

Not really Roblox's problem. Yet it would be nice to see it, I like supporting sites by running theirs adds. But sometimes its just like.. Um no? Sites like CoolMathGames. Check their adds after Google does. SO it can be done. But they don't have to. |

Agree. there should be an Ad filter system for users registered under 13 should have an ad filter that filters ads only child approved by the moderators(if they even care). |
