In the middle of nowhere rests Tsen, a country the size of a city that is completely detached from the rest of the world, presumably to maintain and preserve the culture and colour of the people within. The city is encased within a large, opaque dome. As a result, the city is in a perpetual pseudo-nighttime. Lights are spread out across the city that emit a sort of radiation, to make up for the lack of sunlight. Peopl are encouraged to eat their oranges everyday to stay healthy. The city itself is something that seems ripped straight out of some cyberpunk media. The people of Tsen are kept ignorant of there being a world outside the dome.
Even with the lack of any imports or exports, Tsen manages to thrive. Great minds are born in Tsen, leading to large technological innovation. Hydroponics leads to a surplus of food within Tsen. Any sort of criminal activity is quietly removed, though there are rumours of a massive underground criminal organization. The main way people get around is through the Railways, an electric train-system that moves around and over buildings to get people to their destination. This transportation is free of charge for all people to use. An economy based on the paper currency "Tirs" keeps people working. Though the people are cut off from the outside, life is fairly good in Tsen. . Of course, "good" is subjective.
Wind the clocks forward a year or so, and find that one day, a group of three travellers dressed in sandy cloaks, likely hailing from the deserts in the Far Eastern Lands stumbled upon the massive dome protecting Tsen. They couldn't see inside, and the people within Tsen couldn't see out. The group of travellers were determined to find out what lied within the dome, and as we should all know, a determined person can accomplish anything. A swoosh and a boom was heard as the travelers walked in through a breached wall of the dome. The travellers were quickly captured, and the hole in the dome covered so the people remain unaware of an outside world. When questioned about how they entered Tsen, the travellers stated they used magic to gain entrance. Within a moment, smoke filled the interrogation room, and the travellers fled the scene.
Days later, the travellers began spreading their magical gift around to certain individuals. To all others, they offered the truth, telling people that a world does exist outside of Tsen, and that they're being enclosed within a sanctuary created by the government. Few believed these travellers at first, then they began to realise these travellers had a skin-colour darker than theirs. Thus, the citizens of Tsen began to actually consider the idea of an outside world. Who knows what may happen to Tsen. Perhaps a full-scale uprising, a depression, or even a mass-suicide. Wouldn't that be fun? Perhaps the future of Tsen will be shaped by your life, or your death.
Notable Characters-
The Smelter - A highly volatile and dangerous man. His cybernetics are beyond even military-grade variants. He has been reported to have been causing mass chaos as of late. This man, or thing, has been known to organize mass attacks against several organizations and doesn't seem to cease. Any attempts to subdue this man have been met with severe failure and, unfortunately, high death rates. Heavily armed with several items, most prominently a high-frequency blade resembling that to a Zweihander, except much thicker, he should be avoided at all times and never to be engaged in combat. Reporting to be able to separate limbs in battle, but these are unconfirmed reports. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO FIGHT THIS MAN! DOING SO WILL RESULT IN MASSIVE AMOUNTS OF PAIN, FOLLOWED BY DEATH
Sundowner - Volatile and heavily armored, this man is not to be taken lightly. Often seen working in conjuction with another man named Rikorro, this man is known to wield explosives and a considerably oversized high-frequency blade. Despite his heavy-armoring, he has the ability to go at great speeds due to his advanced cybernetics. Do not engage in combat.
Rikorro - Extremely fast and deadly. Wielding an electrically supercharged high-frequency blade, he is often described as a blur in battle, as nobody can see him until it is too late. With his speed and blade, armor is nothing to him as he penetrates it easily.
Black Golem - A massive construct that's purely a robot and nothing else, this thing is capable of burning down entire blocks and destroying entire security forces. Equipped with a large laser and several cannons on its arm, it is heavily advised not to be engaged in combat at all unless heavy artillery is on hand, even then, take extreme caution.
Grindor - Slow but very heavily armored, instead of having hands, this cyborg possesses chainsaws that, when activated, are engulfed in flames. Often uses his other hand as a drill, he will use his drill first in attempt to grab his victim and then drive the engulfed chainsaw into the victim and then bisects them. Combat is discouraged and should not be engaged unless countermeasures are in hand.
Jarghalla - Rivaling The Smelter in size and height, this behemoth possesses four arms that are all used to beat down his victim. Despite him being so slow, he shows extreme fortitude and poise as it has been demonstrated that not even explosives faze him. Do not engage in combat unless proper precautions are given.
Bizhurrah - One of the females within the group, she possesses advanced cybernetics that allow her to change her appearance at will, thanks to both her mask and flexible limbs that have been shown to have a rib-like skeletal structure. It has been reported she's been equipped with some sort of claw-like weapons, however the credibility is questionable.
Director Mawala - Director and supervisor of the TSF or Tsen Security Force, he has a reputation of having brutal but effective and efficient tactics. Most of his time is spent trying to find any loopholes in The Smelter's criminal organization and himself, however has been shown unsuccessful many times. Any attempts to replicate The Smelter's Greatsword have been met with failure, let alone an attempt to replicate the splitting characteristic of his cybernetic body. Most of his funds at this point are spent on advancing the Security Force's cybernetics and vehicular power. So far, he has had many successes, having one very effective one that has surfaced as of recent...
Science Board Director Azhieldo - A woman who is the director of the Science Board of Tsen, she is often tasked with developing any new cybernetic technologies. She has been very successful, but none of them come close to being able to destroy The Smelter. However, one hopeful invention of her rose recently: The HAAS, or the Hyper-Armored Augmented Suit, a large, bulky piece of armor that requires the driver to be bisected vertically from the waste down in order to use it. Said armor wields a giant axe that seems to have a chainsaw-like blade end that have an extremely sharp edge on them, and are rocket boosted for extra kick to the swings.
Traveller 1 - One of the three travellers that came into Tsen. Like the rest of the travellers, next to nothing known is known about him. The brooch of his cloak is a glowing red gem.
Traveller 2 - One of the three travellers that came into Tsen. A black glove is on his left hand, and in the center of the glove is a glistening blue gem.
Traveller 3 - One of the three travellers, and the only female of the group. A shining yellow gem is embedded into the right shoulder sleeve of her shirt.
Notable Organizations -
Tsen Security Force - The police and military force of Tsen directed by Mawala, this is the main organization responsible for all security within the city. They are often met with petty criminals that are shut down quickly, but the Respite of Tsen is proving to trump the TSF time and time again. Only two of their main leaders have been subdued in combat.
The Respite of Tsen - A criminal organization that could also be labeled as a domestic terrorist group, these people are what mainly run the criminal activity. Most of them are petty criminals, though these usually act as grunts. The higher-ups are responsible for most of the major damage. It is unknown if there's a true leader of the group, but some say the leader is The Smelter, a behemoth who destroys anything in its path, without forethought. The organization mainly operates underground, so as not to be completely shut down by the Tsen Security Force.
The Science Board of Tsen - This is where all of the cybernetics are manufactured and designed. People spend hours upon hours to create highly advanced cybernetics to assist both civilians and the TSF. Something new always seems to be popping out from within the facility's walls.
The Travellers - The strange, dark-skinned people from the Far East Deserts. They possess magical abilities and are currently being hunted down by the Tsen Security Force. They are able to constantly evade capture, due to their magical prowess.
Sentries - These people are scattered about, often dressed in suits. They seem masculine, however their heads are completely different. They possess large camera heads and seems to always be watching people... for what reason is unknown. They don't seem to be affiliated with anybody, it's difficult to say what they're meant for. Neither Director Mawala nor Science Board Director Azhieldo will say what they really are, instead simply saying that they are robots that were manufactured by somebody else and no records exist pertaining to the sentries. It's rumored that the mundane everyday janitors that are spread everywhere are also sentries, but nobody really questions them since credibility is not all there.
