The 2010 egg drops promoted spamming and scamming, which was never good.
The egg hunts are just simpler and all around easier in that regard.
You can be more creative with egg hunts, putting them in interesting places, as opposed to egg drops where you can't.

No support. Players could just make cone-like games and spawn players in the middle to get tickets. Some games aren't compatible with it... We already have noobs making tickets by claiming they know how to get all the eggs. |

Support 100%. They could atleast make the egg drop occur on their egg hunt place only. This years egg hunt was so bad, that even other games beat it twofold popularity-wise. And not to mention the eggs aren't even eggs anymore! They're all just meshes.
@Espithel, "putting them in interesting places", you mean ridiculously hard-to-find places and then waiting an hour for it to respawn? There's honestly no fun at all in egg hunts anymore.

this is just made up. "scamming" never happened and there's no way it even can. spamming is already so bad it can't get any worse.

No, if its an egg drop, that will be too easy, what i think is good will be a egg hunt but harder. Egg drops are if you dont want to think, but roblox is for learning also, not just playing. |

I think the 2015 egg event should be a mixture - an official Egg Hunt place with some exclusive eggs and much better planning, and a universal egg drop that can be toggled; games on the front page when it begins will have it off by default, while the rest will have it on by default.
And, even better, make it so that the universal egg drop itself has exclusive eggs, enticing players to try both.
Honestly, the egg funnel/egg teleporter places weren't all that bad.
My main is from 2009.
Those were nice.

1. Roblox could've added that comment and different combinations of it to a filter to prevent it.
2. Oh no, I clicked play on someones game. I feel so scammed.
3. There's already so much spam it wouldn't make a difference at that point.
4. People can ignore it and move on.

Actually, no, I honestly never saw a server break from an egg falling. If it did, that's both roblox's fault and the owners fault for not designing his games/eggs to not break so easily. |

This will work if you:
- Fix lag problems
- Allow place owners to disallow egg drops
Disadvantages to egg hunt:
- Exploited very often
- Lag issues
- Can't follow friends onto different worlds
- Issues with the eggs themselves
I mean, at least make it like the 2012 Egg Hunt went. 1 place, not several worlds, and make the eggs drop instead of spawning in one place. |

No. The last time the egg drop happened all people did was made egg catching machines to funnel eggs, removing the fun of actually finding the eggs. |
