It's not an offence, so it shouldn't be reported or banned for. And also people have different ways of viewing on what spam means. The actual video game term means that your doing the same thing over and over again several times(which is what I think your talking about). Others think of it as saying something completely different then the thing their posting and/or commenting on. |

By spam it's pretty obvious we mean the people who just post streams of
"aisfhasduigfasyugfsdyuahgfsdyagfasd" into the chat over and over.
Most multiplayer games like this have spam rules. The forums have rules about spamming.
Why not ingame? I seriously see too many people spamming sometimes. |

how is it illogical for someone to get completely banned if they fill the chat up? that's not saying something mean or bullying, that's just..well, filling the chat up. imagine if you're like me: whenever I talk in the roblox chat,
i often talk in intervals
something like this
and i don't wanna get banned for it
just because someone thought i was spamming
wouldn't that make my day...
i do realize that it's very irritating to have your chats go up in flames, but i don't think it is really a crime to do it. in fact, you can work around it by going near a person you're talking to with bubble chat and using that to talk.

I agree with Eggsofdeath.
That kind of Spam, HAS to be punished at least lightly.
Though i Consider it Rude/Mean behavior. and report them anyway. |

@egg- That's a lie. You can still chat with other people, even if they are doing the one word repeated for no reason. Just stand in front the person your trying to talk to and then just talk! After all, a chat bubble(that has what you just said in it)appears over your head when you speak. |

ROBLOX classified Spam as an offence serious enough to be reported, be it in-game, or on the forums, Spamming prevents communication, socializing, and generally ruins the game or thread it occurs on. |

@Mage, Scenario: You're in a game, only classic chat, no bubble, your talking to your friends, and then someone comes along and starts spamming "ghghghghghg" over and over again for AGES, you can no longer communicate in that game, wouldn't you find that to be ruining the game for you? |

You can still communicate in the game, go to the person your trying to talk to and talk to him. The bubble will always be there. If the game isn't allowed any bubble chat, that mean that people who can't free chat aren't able to join game. And no, it wouldn't bother me because I don't talk a lot in game. |

Mage, you just proved you shouldn't have a say in this due to lack of knowledge about ROBLOX.
You state that you could just move infront of the person you're talking to, but that is very incorrect. Many games don't even use bubble chat, in which, spam would prevent all conversations.
Is it that hard to understand? |

Bubble chat will not ALWAYS be there. If you look at the settings for a game, you can choose whether to allow people to use it or not.
Many games simply do not allow bubble chat whatsoever. That's a fact. Stop spreading your lies. |

I'm not spreading lies, i'm saying what I believe as true. Even if I am wrong about the bubble chat,s that doesn't mean you can't solve the problem about spammers. It's called, 'join a different server'! |

Alot of people spam by coping something from a website and then opening the chat and pressing ctrl V.
So a way to reduce spam is remove the ctrl V thing.
Another way is a spam filter: If you say ten things with in 3 seconds, you get a warning in the game. Get 2 more warnings and you get kicked. |

Scamming? trade with someone else.
cursing? Join a different server. Use a different post.
Your argument is just pitiful. You don't ignore people who do things like that, you punish them. That's why rules exist. |
