Accounts that are no longer accessed and have nothing on them at all should be deleted. I'm talking about the ones that haven't (and they need to meet all of these):
Logged in for over 2 years.
Made any changes to their places
Purchased anything
Logged on more than a couple of times
Have any friends
Are in any groups
have badges, stats, blurb, etc
Really, just those that made the account just to make it, did nothing on it, then never went on. Not somebody who has actually made progress on their account and has a place. I don't think anyone will care if they come back to find that their account that they made 2 years ago and never used at all was deleted.
It might help people who want those names that were taken or maybe make the database smaller if that's how it works. I'm really just posting this in response to the threads I keep reading about people just getting deleted because they didn't log in for a while so they see there are other important things.

To be honest, I don't even know what a namesnipe is.
If you mean will the deleted user's name be able to be used again, then yes.

A namesnipe is when a player takes a cool name, but then never uses the account again, like If you made an account called "Moon", or "Batman", and then just showed it off. |

What if they don't make any changes to there places? I'm not much of a builder myself and haven't activated studio for two years or built for a couple of months since yesterday. |

I mean, you know who has never used their account. Having the default place is a good sign that they've never touched it before. But there are other things that determine whether your account is inactive, so even if you've never edited your place, you still need to meet those other requirements.
And I should probably add have never purchased BC or Robux before, but that's a given.

Absolutely not.
Older player's accounts are evidence of the past and how it was. You can look at the old places, see how profile pictures were [i believe they haven't been updated] and even see what clothing was! No way.

I don't want this. I'm a 08er and started on the account of sufi. Then 01sufi. Then yoZombieKiller. Then yoZombieKiller123(Terminated). Up to this. I don't want those accounts to go.

The namesnipers could just fill all the requirements with the namesnipe and leave it abandoned then. No support, this is too prone to not work. |

You didn't read it. I said if they have done literally nothing on the account, it should be deleted. All of those accounts you listed have clearly been used.

If you want you account 2 years later, you probably should have gone on at least once. I don't think a single person that made their account and immediately abandoned it is ever going to come back for it. They probably don't even know they have it still.

Played a game, made a decal, shirts, edited their own game, used for massreporting, joined an alt group, the list goes on.
It won't work, and it shouldn't work.

Some people lose interest in ROBLOX as they grow older, but like me, they go back to their account for nostalgia. It'd be kinda sad for you to visit and see how much ROBLOX has changed since you left, and then realize your account has been deleted. |

Why fix what isn't broken, they're not causing any harm. Getting rid of them would just be putting effort into what isn't already a problem.
Besides, some people have accounts that are actually namesnipes that they are just keeping in case they ever decide to use it in the near future. I don't think there's anything wrong with people who do that. |
