Studio:
When I click Build or Edit, it doesn't say it's loading or anything. It just puts the buttons away when they come up when I click on my place. Why's it not letting me in? I've erased browser histories, reinstalled Studio, Player, etc.
General:
Can't get in any games when I click play. It just stalls completely at loading and keeps loading so I have to cancel out of it. |

It's probably your laptop/computer. I'm not having these problems. |
|
|
I've seen that a lot of other people have been. |

Normally I would tell you that something with your computer is conflicting with RobloxPlayerBeta.exe, but many players are having this problem, too.
Whatever update Roblox made is preventing certain users from connecting to the game altogether. The play button is pressed, the message appears that you're connecting to the server, and then RobloxPlayerBeta.exe never opens or opens and immediately closes.
The only solution I can offer you is to wait for Roblox to fix the problem. Then again, we all know just how "helpful" their updates are. |

Unfortunately, the problem isn't as simple this time that a Roblox re-install will fix. For players who have installed or re-installed Roblox AFTER this recent update, RobloxPlayerBeta.exe refuses to work altogether.
Right now, the only fix can be achieved by the corporation itself. |
|
|
I just posted my own forum unknowingly about the same problem you are facing, I CANNOT for the life of me figure out how to fix the problem. |
|
|
See, I've been confused about this since I've seen many others on a game, and I pondered, "What's happening to the specific group of these people and the Player Launcher?" Player has been asking for whenever I press Play to download it but then it tries to open the game or something. |
|
|
This problem might be happening if you're using Internet Explorer. Turn off your ActiveX filtering whenever you're about to play a roblox game, or use a different Internet Browser instead. As for the studio issues, I'm not sure about the solution. Remember to turn ActiveX filtering back on after playing a game since it prevents trackers. |
|
|
To turn off ActiveX filtering, click on the blue button on your address bar and press "Unblock Content." |
|
|
Mine was already off, I turned it on and it kept giving me the download pop up but not the actual download window that would pop up if it wasn't on my computer. Turning it back off gives me my same old problem. |

Le sigh.
People, this problem doesn't come from a web browser, operating system, or computer settings. Roblox is sending us a corrupted RobloxPlayerBeta.exe file upon installing or re-installing the game.
ONLY THEY CAN FIX THE PROBLEM. Please be patient and wait. |
|
|
So then how exactly do we get them to take notice... I have seen problems in the past continue for months without a fix or solution. People just literally stop going to website because that is all they can do. |
|
|
We would need to get their attention, and you know how easy* that is.

@smfv3
Has that been proven by ROBLOX itself? Did they announce this error |
|
|
I don't think they're aware of it. I haven't been on the site for about 2 years (as in games and crap) and this has never happened to me. |

@Tacobite
If they were aware of the error, it would be fixed by now. |

I found a possible solution posted by rayman9023:
"Uninstall ROBLOX and delete all it's files.
I have a solution which fixes this issue:
(IF ROBLOX IS ALREADY INSTALLED)
How to uninstall ROBLOX:
1. Open control Pannel
2. Click Uninstall A Program (Windows 7, Unsure about others)
3. Find ROBLOX and Right-Click
4. Click Uninstall
5. Wait until it tells you that "ROBLOX has been uninstalled"
6. Re-Install ROBLOX by clicking the play button
7. Profit!
Alternate Solution (If ROBLOX has been uninstalled/re-installed and not working):
-Solution Below-
1. Open by using "Run" (Windows XP) or type it in the search bar (Windows 7) - %appdata%
2. Go out of Roaming into AppData
3. Open local
4. Delete ROBLOX
NOTE: CLOSE YOUR BROWSER WHILE DOING THIS
5. Go back to AppData and open Locallow
6. DELETE THE FOLLOWING;
~RbxLogs
~rbxcsettings.rbx
7. Re-Install ROBLOX
8. Profit!
-Solution Above-" |

a lot is more than a bunch, haha. |

Good for you @above. Not relevant to the major bug/glitch/error happening. |
