Roblox rarely ever does fundraising. There was that cancer one when Erik Cassel died, with the T-Shirts and hats (which I think was a fantastic thing for Roblox to do) but I am not sure if there were any others.
How about a fundraiser to get more kids into programming?
Pros for roblox users:
If more kids actually WANT to make a game themselves and learn scripting, less copies!
People that know what they're talking about!
Less badly built places!
Pros for roblox workers:
More kids playing roblox = more money

Why don't we as a userbase put something together? I would love to help out with something like a Place focused around learning Lua. If we do a good enough job we could get the admins in on it. |

They could add like a tutorial on how to make games when they open ROBLOX studio. That might work. |

I'm somewhat versed in Lua, I could definitely cover basic-intermediate stuff and maybe even a little advanced stuff. |

Yes, but technically I'm not old enough to use kickstarter or indiegogo x(
Anyway, roblox is the perfect platform for this really if we can get the admins to held - roblox is pretty much lego with square studs.
When I was younger, I thought it would be really cool if I could have a flying lego ship and roblox scripting is pretty much the closes thing to that unless you have access to fancy lego techy stuff. |

That's unrealistic, someone who wants to make a twerking script probably doesn't have the capacity to learn how. If they wanted to do it that badly they'd just learn from the wiki. |
