I'm in several clans, and I get my clan notifications via PM, since the group shout is useless (WAY too slow). Thing is, most of the time I'm in a game, so I don't know I've been messaged until I leave, and that's usually 1 or 2 hours later, which means the event is usually over by then.
Make it so that where in-game friend requests are shown on your screen, you can get PM notifications of the same nature. |

In Aegean Airlines, my primary group, we all use the group shot because the higher ranks, me being one of them, recommend you check the group page at least once every hour and a half. If it is a non-formal shout then it will be posted on the wall. Only my personal updates are sent through PM, we do not like to PM information that is directed to the whole group.
However, I can understand how other groups would require this so I will support you. |
