'Edit' Issue on the develop page

Ok so, My computer just crashed while building (working on finding out why), and my local file that I was working on just became corrupted. Even after several attempts, I was unable to recover it. I loaded previous progress from the place on the develop page, but noticed it took a while to load. The place has 10k+ objects. Isn't there some way to boost loading speed when clicking the edit button from the develop page? Some places that have 30k+ objects will not load, even after 10min of waiting. This seems like a major issue.
