I propose that we restrict what parts of the forums a user can post to until they have been on the site for a while. Radical and harsh, I know. For instance: If the user just joined, they can use the bug reporting, and help forums. If they have been here a year and a half, they can use the rest of the forums. Seeing as the forum design and moderation is currently quite bad, I feel this would help alleviate some of the spam and useless junk we see on the forums. Either that, or re-design the forums, and the moderation structure to be similar to that of WarThunder. Seriously, you could learn a thing or two from those guys.

Not bad. I think we need something like a forum ban, where rather than a user getting banned from the whole site, just the forums.

I would support if it was a year instead of a year and a half. People know their stuff after a year in most cases.

>WarThunder forums WT forums are restricted as hell. That's a bad idea.

@SilentSwish Yeah, but then there was that guy: http://www.roblox.com/Forum/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=132967578 @BloxaBrick So what you're basically saying, is that a KIDS forum should have less restrictions than a forum with ADULTS on it? Fascinating. There is that list thingy with previously suggested ideas on it that they have on their suggestions forum. So I dont have to keep seeing the same ideas six times in a day. Thats a plus. The fact that instead of locking a thread, they can just move it to the appropriate forum. (I havent seen that done on Roblox) The fact that they actually listen and reply to bug reports. They also have status updates for the useless stuff (which could be used instead of clogging up OT with useless junk) Nah, I see no disadvantages with their forums whatsoever. In fact they make Roblox forums look like a horrible place.

One of those 3 people was on roblox longer than 1 year and a half. Also this could make roblox less atractive to people.

The forum is a free for all. Regardless of how long you've been on ROBLOX, people should have the opportunity to explore the forums and post their input. If you were an active poster on the forums, and you got terminated and started a new account, do you think it'd be fair if you had to wait a year and half just to start posting on the forums again? It's a good idea, but it ruins the point of the forums.

The very least they could do is pay more attention to their members.

I like the idea But the example... no... You shouldn't wait 1 1/2 years just to report bugs. I mean, new robloxians will need help on studio So lower that to 3 weeks

I said "the bug reporting and help forums". So my argument still stands.
