It's that you can't fight back if someone attacks you, otherwise you get in trouble to. Like seriously, what do the principals think you're going to do? Sit there and get beat up? Um hell no. Tell a teacher? If you're in the middle of a fight telling a teacher isn't exactly a top priority, defending yourself is.

where i live, if someone "attacks" you you're allowed to fight back in any way necessary that allows you to either A. get away from the attacker B. restrain the attacker C. call for help it used to be that you can't attack back until a kid 3-4 years ago was attacked by another kid in the hallway and was had to just try to sit there and block punches while the other guy attacked him mfw

Yeah. If someone frickin tries to KILL you, you should have every right to snap the kid's neck in half. You don't yell, "Ms. Jones, David just tried to kill me!" You'd be dead before she got to you, if she even had the guts to break up a fight involving a knife.
