1) Faster, easier way to remove friends.
I've recently decided to cut down my friend's list to only close friends, but I ran into a problem. The size of my friend's list.
I spent 2 1/2 hours removing friends today and only got about 10 pages in. I think there should be a slightly easier way for friends to be removed, and quickly.
What I had pictured was a system similar to the message archive feature... A small box in the upper right hand corner of every profile picture of the user on your friends list, that you can click if you want to do a task with the user. Then at the bottom of the page have a delete button which allows you to delete several people at once.

2) Another idea to go along with this, would be a specified friend list. Again, using the box in the corner method, allowing you to search for friend in your list, select their name an move them to a specific 'group'. Similar to the best friend tab, but say if you wanted to have certain friends in the group. Hmmm.. how to explain..
Alright, let's say you're in two big groups, and you want to keep up with the high ranks of those groups, but quickly. So what you would do is create a group list. Like 'Group 1' and move a certain selection of users to that group, and a 'Group 2' to move another selection of members to that group. Then, with this, it allows a small tab at the top that you can go to, and find the person you are looking for quickly. This feature allowing a maximum number of personal groups at 5, with unlimited list capacity (like the normal friend list).

Same here. When I was a newbie, in 2012, I was friending everyone. Now, I have 3k+ friends but I am too lazy to remove them all. Groups would help a lot to organize my friends.
