@trog
Kids can't sue kids, sorry. |
|

Now that DevEx is being used, I support. Real life money is at stake and fraud could happen. |

@Super, Which is why they check if the cash was earned legitimately. |

Why just DevEx? Reported items should be checked too. |
|
|
No one would sue anyone, the offender would just get banned.
Opponents of this are overthinking it.
Full support. Money, as of DevEx's installation, IS at risk. |

Well, I agree, sort of. It depends on the person.
Some people make them to be copied, whereas other times it is done without permission. If they state credit and actually give atleast 25 or so percent of their profits to the original it would be fine. Take it like this:
What is right:
Messaging creator asking to use their clothing item.
Giving credit to the creator and sharing the profits with them.
Without plagiarizing creator, use some of their ideas (Max 3 ideas) & make your own. |

Bumpoo. |

Why do you bump this? You can't stop copying and bans are useless for copying clothing. |
|
|
Copying is love and good, go away. |

@2 above
Did you even read the original post? I never said ban. |

@Sere
Fun fact, your templates that have To the image mods and what not, they are approved instantly therefore they don't even look at it. |

i don't think this is taking a step in the right direction
moderation against people who steal clothing isn't going to work well
the most reasonable method is to somehow stop the ability to change the ID and grab the template
idk how it will work but i do know that my clothing is stolen so often i have to watermark it to make it at least a bit more difficult for copiers :^( |

When someone uses DevEx, it goes through a process on how the money was earned.
If said money was earned from clothing, ROBLOX Staff does a background check on where the template originated, and if there is a copy of it from a earlier date, ROBLOX will decline the DevEx request.
So there's no need to worry about that. |

I agree, but I do not think this is do-able.
The roblox mods would have to skim through the reports quickly, possibly using a bot, who knows?
If so, copiers may add slight alterations, which would by-pass the bot.
Alterations may even by-pass the mods.
Also, some copiers are not stupid and put their own templates on-top.
I do fully agree, though.

This isn't about sueing. This is about keeping peoples materials secure. And yes, Roblox does state that you're not allowed to copy. So why isn't precautions being put into play to stop copying? That's why I support. |

This needs to happen.
Full on support.
"ɪᴋᴏɴɪᴋ." |

I think that the people who make clothes and are in fashion groups should support this. But ROBLOX wont do anything.
We are kids to them
And we always will be |

Support; one of my designs got stolen and got over 5k sales.. |
|
|
I have to be on Sereka's side and I understand what everyone is talking about but how bout the main clothing designers such as Jalki and iOozi have ROBLOX permission to look at the images kind of like the image detector sort of people but once they say the image is OK then the people get to see if it is copied |
|
|
And guys NO SUEING is going to happen well sort of but like I said the famous creators will report if the idea is not original and SOME of there money is taken like 25% of the copiers ROBUX & TIX are given to the ORIGINAL creator |
|
|
Guys, just be a so-called "ninja" reporter, and just report stolen clothing. Its the best you can do. |

They can just add a ROBLOX watermark on the template. Then have the creator's username added to the watermark as well. |
