Now before anyone goes berserk, I do not fully understand this concept. My fault on that. I DO however know that ROBUX, can be hard to come by. At least in my case anyhow. A lot of "rich" users may find this a problem too. If you have no idea what I am talking about I shall explain. When a user sells ANY type of item, there is a 30% marketplace fee placed on that sale. Example? Sell an item for 10 ROBUX? Well, hope you're okay with 7, because you just got TAXED! I don't really understand why this exists! I mean, sure, a better way to make people buy ROBUX, but isn't that a little unfair? Think about it, a user is paying FULL PRICE for an item, and then the seller doesn't even get 30% of those ROBUX. What a waste. I want to sell my Fedora for 20,000 ROBUX, not 14,000! And to buyers, what a waste of your hard earned money. The "ROBLOXian Gov't" has no use for these aborted ROBUX because, heck, we all know that they could just give themselves any item they want or give themselves a bunch of ROBUX. If anything the "TAX" should be 10%. It gets frustrating trying to sale a high priced item and getting pocket lint for it. I understand this might tie in with the Price Floors stuff, and to that I say, what a rip. Support or No Support? Let me know why below!

It should be 20%.

No, 30% is fine. Roblox must 'print' money every day. A single OBC takes R$400 a week, and then you have to give people the money they earned from the game. So lets say everyone has 5 tix Then everyone got more money so now they have 10 tix Normally, it would be taxed out, but no. Then more people come so games and things sell faster So we all have 20 tix Now you'd think shirt and pants stay the same, but they rise... and rise... and rise... So our 100 tix would be worth the same as 5 tix... And in 09' 1k R$ would get you a Dominus, now you need 50k (Hence the floor pricing has come in too) Also, roblox gain very little from this, we however benefit from it. [:TDP:]

@lottery NBC tax: 50% BC tax: 15% TBC tax: 5% OBC tax: Either 5% or no tax at all. That's more balanced.

@Chi It should be: NBC tax:30% BC tax:25% TBC tax:20% OBC tax:15%

to chib: since BC earns robux, i think NBC should pays less tax, due to their games do not have much popularity than BC, BC can advertise easily. idea: NBC pays 6% tax. BC or upper leval pays 10% tax. that will encourage NBC to develop.

NBC should still be 40-50%, as then more NBC's will get BC.

No.NBCers don't deserve less tax than people that actually are supporting ROBLOX with money.

^ no! as NBC right was still lowering, most the people who cannot buy BC will leave because roblox was worse than another game. we must raise the NBC rights to solve the exploiters problem.

You should just leave ROBLOX right now if you think ROBLOX wants to get less cash so they can magically run their website without paying for anything.

@lottery The five main games on the front page right now: 1.The Quarry (BC) 2.T.M.M (OBC) 3.Survive the Disasters! (OBC) 4.Different town of Robloxia (NBC) 5.Murder Mystery (OBC) Notice how the liquid game is made by an NBC, and the only game made by an NBC is the liquid game. Now imagine that NBC only got 6% tax. They would be rolling in money, perhaps even more than their BC counterparts. With players being able to earn more money as an NBC through game development, trading of limited items, and Clothing, rule breakers would go up. Three examples are: 1. Stealing of clothes: With prices of clothes being higher, with lowered tax overall (This one is increased BC crime), a shirt being sold by an OBC, at the spidermans tax suggestion (15%), and the price of 100 tix, they'd earn 15 more tix per shirt. Not much, but 100 sales means an extra 1500 tix. That's quite a bit for 100 shirts. 2. ODing: With more liquid games being put into the system, these liquid games are mostly Town and City roleplay games. And from the Complex, and other examples of these games, we know they are ODer hotspots. 3. Hacking: More players would begin hacking accounts to steal limited items, and make the account "buy" donation shirts, with less tax, more cash gets from Point A to Point B. If the shirt was 10,000 robux, 30% tax = 7,000 robux getting there, but 15% tax means 8,500 robux arriving. So hacking would become more profitable. And there we go. (I think this post will be TL;DR'd.)

What's a liquid game?

#134413582Saturday, May 17, 2014 7:33 AM GMT

oding will normally not. because roblox can review the clothings. hacking solution: get rid of BC. (even it is WNTS, this is currently the most powerful way to stop all of the hackers, without fixing bugs.)

A liquid game is a game, with little effort put into it that was just made to earn money, not to be interesting. They often have: - Comments disabled. - Nothing new or exciting. - A lot of dislikes. - Are a town and city or horror. - A NBC, or Regular BC developer. - A stuck-up owner. - ODers. - Rapidly changing thumbnails, and title. - Overly expensive VIP items. - Free models. - Admin abuse. There.

No support. - Stops the rich from becoming insanely rich within an extremely small amount of time. Some of items sell for some insane amounts of money, and if there wasn't a fee they would get giant payoffs from selling their limiteds. They would then in turn be able to use this with DevEx. These taxes stop that, to a large degree. - Incentivizes people to buy BC and/or Robux. - Removes currency from circulation, otherwise eventually everyone would become incredibly rich if nothing was removed from the system. - Teaches people about real life taxes. - Teaches people how to be smart with their money and prices. - Incentivizes people to steal accounts. For example, I know someone who thought it would be "fun" to go around taking accounts. He found an account with 30kR$. Now, if he wanted that he would only get 21kR$. However, if he was being smart (and filtered it through several accounts), he would make less than 10kR$. Without such a tax, or an extremely nerfed one, he would make the equivalent of 30kR$ with no risk of being discovered. And so on.
