Dude, you have to appreciate some of the modern works. Just because it is new, doesn't mean it's automatically stupid. I, myself, don't listen to too much nu-metal, but I at least appreciate it. |

LOL classic metal is better like
Metallica, Slayer and Pantera.
Disturbed-Is OK i like them.
Slipknot- False Metal they have 3 drumers and a DJ,(9 people in a band.....)
Ill Nino- Never heard of them they sound retarted.
Spineshank-Also never heard of them and they sound retarted
Powerman 5000- Heard of them , they suck.
Linkin Park- Not metal, more rapish and less metalish, and actually have rap song.

Slipknot isn't false metal. Have you listened to their self-titled record and Iowa? They're really heavy records, and Iowa is the closest thing to a mainstream death metal album. Besides, groups like Metallica, Pantera, and Dream Theater have toured with or worked with members of Slipknot, and obviously enjoy their music. |
