i'm having the same issue with the roblox studio askin me to download roblox, i did enable the roblox plugin, but nothing works also my computer is a Windows 8.1

I currently have the same problem thanks for attempting to help. But I've tried uninstalling then re-installing roblox, I've tried another browser, I've tried Roblox Studio, I've already had the plug-in allowed, And I've tried doing the steps that were along the lines of what Xiam and others said. Hopefully this'll be fixed soon.

same here im having same issue with roblox launcher to each time i reinstall it and unblock a plugin it still not working someone please help me each time i get on diffrent computer and it wouldnt load and how do i update a launcher to latest version

I have been frustrated with this too. When I followed what roblox said on their website it still never worked. Leaving me waiting for a message on gmail by roblox. But for not I'm stepping away from the drama and getting outside, playing minecraft, watching youtube, and watching TV. To be honest I've been crying and i'm frustrated too.

I have the same problem, it's not there in the internet explorer add-ons/plugins or whatever. I tried doing ALL of your suggestions, and nothing works. I even emailed roblox about it last night. Waiting for a reply.

IKR ROBLOX is not working for me and its so frusterating! I have the roblox icon on my laptop so when I go into it, it still tells me to install it to play a game! I'm so confused, I've installed it then uninstalled it like 5 times! I really want to play ROBLOX. :(

Mine dosen't work either although I've downloaded it like 3 times.:( Roblox Just all of a sudden stopped working when I tried to play Prison Life v0.6. It really sucks because Roblox has so many cool games that I cannot play anymore !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have figured this out but it's only for people who have trouble with their antivirus blocking it from downloading robloxplayer and the plugin, thats what i think is happening to most people actually. so what ya wanna do is go to you're antivirus, in my case,avast so i opened up the virus chest and right clicked on roblox and hit 'restore' and now it's all back to normal. Hope i helped.

well im on a chrome book 11 and it wont work for nothing i tryed and tryed and i even stayed up almost all night last night and it did not work and im getting fustraded because i cant do this o my GEEEEEEEE lol but for real this is getting on my nervers becasue chrome i just got chrome u know and its not worth nothing nothing nothing nothing at allllllll but thx for the help tho

Hey I am having the same problem on window 8.1 it will load and just disappear I have check the plugins its not even there and tried different browsers too :( I have tried to re install but nothing is working !!! Anyone found a solution yet???

Avast marks Roblox as a virus. You have to go into the virus chest to restore Roblox. This post should help. http://www.roblox.com/Forum/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=167161909

I found it out. It's simple! Go to the windows 'search the web and windows' if you have windows 10 or just go to the start menu,and then go to control panel and then go to Programs and then uninstall and uninstall ROBLOX and ROBLOX Studio. Then reinstall it! After that just play a game and it might happen again but then delete the you have to downoad it thing and internet explorer press Play again and there problem solved. And if it's about avast then I guess, shut down your computer then turn it on and it might stop the avast and do what I said. If the avast part didn't work then find out a solution! Hope my 'roblox launcher' thing worked! C:
