I've been having this issue lately in the past week and I'm getting frustrated by this issue. I've read many threads, although all of the replies I have tried could not stop the continuous addressing to download ROBLOX. I'm pretty sure I already downloaded it about a bunch of times.
To those who say to play games in ROBLOX by ROBLOX Studio, to me it'll just ask me once again to download ROBLOX in ROBLOX Studio, Classic View. To those who say to switch browsers, Google Chrome will just say "Could not load ROBLOX Launcher Plugin" and download ROBLOX again and again. Firefox and Internet Explorer will just ask me to download ROBLOX although I already have it.
I already checked the Add-Ons and Extensions to each browsers and enabled "Always Activate/Allowed" on ROBLOX Launcher Plugins on only Google Chrome and Firefox. Unfortunately, ROBLOX in Google Chrome and Firefox will ask me to download ROBLOX. In Internet Explorer however, I could not find "ROBLOX Corporation" therefore I don't think the Launcher Class in enabled. When I discovered that ROBLOX Corporation is missing in the Add-Ons and Extensions window, I re-downloaded ROBLOX in Internet Explorer and checked again. Unfortunately, it was still not there.
What I am basically asking from this 3-paragraphed message, how can I fix this?

I don't know, but I am having the same problem as you, so you aren't alone.
I've reinstalled roblox 3 times and I still can't join a game. |

Uninstall ROBLOX. Clear your cookies. Try again.

Here are my tips:
1st. Uninstall your Roblox Launcher and your browser(Google Chrome etc.)
2nd. Reinstall the Google Chrome etc. and Roblox Launcher.
3rd. PROBLEM Solved.

It's easy:
Requirements:
- Google Chrome
- Internet (Doh)
Start up Google Chrome, and type in the adressbar: chrome://plugins/
Scroll until you see 'Roblox Launcher Plugin'.
Look if it's DISABLED. If it is, then ENABLE it.
If it's enabled, check the 'Always allow' box and restart Google Chrome.
If that didn't work, then try re-installing Roblox after you've done this above.

weird, i cant find my roblox launcher plugin, its gone and roblox is asking to download the roblox launcher and it isnt working, nothing is.....

This is what happened to me aswell. Dont uninstall roblox old fashioned, do it like this. In ur computer thingy type in (%appdata%) then you will see Roblox. Delete Roblox and look for it in the Recycle Bin. Delete it once again in the recycle bin and reinstall it. Thats how i made mine work, i hope it will work for u aswell. |

This is most common issue with Corrupt Roblox Launcher file.
I fixed this long time ago and I forgot how to do it but it should go something like this:
( You will need Internet Explorer for this )
1 )Unfortunately, you cannot see the error in Google Chrome when playing games, so for this, install or use Internet Explorer for this.
2 ) Open up Internet Explorer and go to Roblox Website
3 ) Press games and choose a game
4 ) Press play and if you see error saying something like Cannot Launch Roblox Player ( or Roblox Player Plugin) then you will see the FILE DIRECTORY listed in the error
5 ) Great! Now locate to that directory
6 ) If you see RobloxLauncherBeta or RobloxPlayerBeta with a Byte equivalent or equal to 0 bytes, you will need to delete this ( IF YOU CAN'T DELETE THIS, USE AN ADMINISTRATOR ACCOUNT TO DO THIS AND GO TO STEP 6 A,B,C, D, E)
6a ) Right click RobloxLauncherBeta or RobloxPlayerBeta and press Properties
6b ) Press the Security Tab
6c ) Go to Advanced
6d ) Go to Auditing and Enable Auditing then go to Permissions
6e ) If your account DOES not have Full Control over the file, do this.
6f ) Press Add on the Bottom Left-Hand corner, press Select a Principal
6g ) Where it says Enter a Object name to Select, Enter the LOG IN NAME for the USER (example: mycomputer123, iamcool123) Then press Check Names, press OK.
6h ) After pressing OK, you should get a Window with the title "Permission Entry for (YOURUSER)
6i ) On the boxes below Basic Permission. Check Full Control to automatically check all aspects of permission (except for Special Permissions)
6j ) Press OK and press Apply
7(6k) ) Delete the Corrupted File/s (RobloxLauncherBeta or RobloxPlayerBeta)
8 ) Now go to Internet Explorer or Google Chrome (any, doesnt matter)
9 ) Download Roblox Installer (www.roblox.com/Install)
10 ) Let Roblox Installer do the rest by re installing the missing files (RobloxPlayerLauncher or RobloxPlayerBeta)

I've found a way to fix it for me.
1) Go to chrome://plugins/
2) Disable the ROBLOX Launcher Plugin
3) Join a game
4) Let the plugin download again
5) Once it downloads and updates ROBLOX, go back to chrome://plugins/
6) Now Enable the Plugin
7) Run a game |

Actually guys, i have a simple solution to this. Instead of using roblox through google or internet, run the roblox player, and then use it, running the roblox player lets it work for one game so be ready to do it repeatedly. |
