"Metal requires actual instruments to be played. Metal has intricate quitar work and drums generally. Screaming and growls are harder to do than sing if you actually do it well,and loud enough to recognizable. It is also difficult, because you can harm your vocal chords if you do it wrong. Rap is speaking to rhythm. Not saying that I say rap takes no talent, because I like rap, but it takes more talent to have a metal band than a rap artist IMO. You also say lil Wayne is the best thing since canned cheese. Lil Wayne doesn't rP fast or anything. Most of his songs are about the same thing. Now I do happen to like some of his songs. But look up eminem verses lil Wayne freestyle. Wayne is just speaking words slowly. He is not the best. Back to the subject. Metal, although much of it is about death, a lot of it also isn't about killing."
Rapping fast doesn't make you a good rapper. Listen to what he is saying in that freestyle first.
"Welcome to the Carter, little shop of horror, bloody like a period ... after Dr.."
That was a great use of wordplay to help make a nice simile. (I am assuming this is the "freestyle" you were referring to).
Also, if anything, the pause after "bloody like a period" seemed more like a way to let the line sink in, showing that it can be interpreted as a simple simile before he makes the line a double entendre of sorts.
Not that Lil Wayne is better than Em lyrically, but your statements seem to be made out of ignorance to lyricism. Hip hop is not all about flow. |

Lil Wayne is the best rapper alive, so yes, he is better than Eminem. And metal does need instruments, but so does Rap. How do you think the beats are made? |

The beats are made with synths etc, which is eaiser than picking up a guitar and immediately play a good basic song. |
