i was a member of M INC (that 803 id clan from back in the day)
i happened to join just as M INC Special Ops was coming out and was 'chosen' for it.
anyway, i did "spying missions" where i went to different forts to see how they react to random people

my hats are that black ninja mask, that black helmet thing, and that finn mccool face thing.
i see some VACs standing on that small hill in the center (not the rock one, the grass one)
i start walking towards them and they gun me down.
i try again, they gun me down.
the third time (being the 'noob' i was), i asked them to stop.
i did something making a bunch of faces and they told me to stop making faces if i wanted to join (i didnt even mention wanting to join) and i thought they meant the face on the character, so i took it off, kept making faces, then finally understood.
i eventually did get into vac after getting a 30:10 ratio at SMO and passing that long obstacle course (i have the badge in my badges if you want proof. its way back there).
and ya, thats how i joined vac
