for real though, it was actually really unsettling red wedding didn't phase me because i didn't really care about robb or his mom (and the screaming was so ridiculous sounding, it just made me laugh) but oberyn's screams as his head gets crushed, and his wife's scream when his head blew up were really bloodcurdling

1. That was an ass move. It's fortunate I watched, but be mindful and add a spoiler tag 2. I can't sleep now. I just watched one of my favorite character's head get bashed in. It shocked me to the point of insomnia.

if it already aired then i expect people who click the thread to have seen it and the books came out over a decade ago, right? should spoiler tag be added to every discussion of a series, since maybe not everybody knows what happens? and if that is so, wouldn't it be implied that everything is a spoiler already, and people should know it will be spoiled?

Not everyone reads the books. Not everyone watches on Sundays. The episode just ended a few hours ago, so don't expect everyone to already know what happened to Oberyn. Add a spoiler tag, next time.
