There are few questions more thought-provoking than the one I am about to ask you.
The Universe is known to be over 13 Billion years old. I am 14. Look at the astronomical disparity between these two values. The theologians will ask what happens after we die, but I ask you what occurred before we lived? They are too scared to ask such questions. It is funny because we all know the answer to this question and it is only rational to realize that the answer to both questions is the same. |

Answer: Dinosaurs!
Thank you for clearing that up, OP. |

I just posted this because there are so many people who fail to objective look for truths rather they look for a comfortable answer. |

That's actually a comforting thought in a way; immortality would be a curse in and of itself. Our bodies aren't born to live forever. |
Yes I know. To some it may be uncomfortable to think about though. |

i'm an idiot, don't quite understand
are you basically saying history repeats itself? |

History does not repeat.
That's a lesson you should've learned by 10. |

I am saying that all this dogmatic belief in an afterlife is unfounded. We all know the truth of reality because we have "experienced" it before our parents gave birth to us. |
well I suppose that's what you put your faith into if you're an atheist, like all religions |
No faith involved. Just logical reasoning. |

If you really think about it, you cant prove that yesterday really existed.
You just sort of have to trust your senses and thoughts. |
That is true in a sense but actually believe that yesterday did not exist is illogical. |
what makes it logical reasoning? what proof do you have that a deity is impossible?
your theory is that we are in the same state before we live as after we die. could that support reincarnation? you're saying we existed and had experienced "nothingness" before we were born. well, during this state we had the destiny, or intention, or whatever, to live.
what proof would you have that you do not return to life as another being after you return to your original state of nothingness? |

This does not support reincarnation in a spiritual sense but in a scientific sense. As humans we are mammals and part of the ecosystem of planet earth. We belong to nature and we are a part of it. When we die, the matter that we are composed of is reincarnated into the earth and is possibly used by plants and other animals. As for conscience, we do not truly understand this yet. There is no proof for a spirit and there is no reason to believe one exists. |

ZUMBAWE ZUMBAWE ITS THE CIRCLE OF LIFE |

well, you said that you cannot prove spirituality.
it takes faith for you to believe that spirituality doesn't exist |
It does NOT take faith to dismiss spirituality. The burden of proof lies on those who believe in nonsensical ideas like spirituality. |
what proof
you just said you don't have proof
how do you know you don't have a soul that leaves your body, returning to a state of nothingness only to move into another world
like heaven
