Yes it does. About 40 000 km².(Karelia, if you have ever heard of it) Finland joined WWII only because Russia/Soviet union demanded some land from us.(To Protect Stalingrad from German invasion) We didn't bend under the pressure of superpower. We fought 2 succesfull wars against the red army but then we had to give up. They should have given the land back long ago. At least when Soviet Union disbanded.

Yeah, and the Major powers of Europe owe Bulgaria territories as big as France. So I don't care :D lol And Stalingrad was invaded and conquered by the Germans. That doesn't sound like a great defence. :D No offence meant on purpose.

Not that big in country terms. 40 000km is about 25 000 miles.

In WWII Soviet Union attacked Finland with no reason. I mean no good reason. They were even kicked out of ''league of nations'' because of it :P. And 40 000km2 is a lot of land. At least a lot for Finland.

Yeah and one excuse for not giving back it was because Soviet Union ''liberated'' the land from evil facists..

If Russia is to give SOME land to Finland, then Austria, Russia and Prussia should give Poland in order: 128 900 km², 463 200 km² and 141 400 km² which together would end up in over 733500 km². That is much more than Finland's lost land. Poland lost that land during the partitions and that's not the World War. That was XVIII century.

We are not giving you that land back. We owned YOU from 1809-1917. So, you broke away, and thirty years later, think its YOUR land? Its ours.

''We are not giving you that land back. We owned YOU from 1809-1917. So, you broke away, and thirty years later, think its YOUR land? Its ours.'' When we broke away we got the land BECAUSE finns lived there. NOT Russian people.. Then the ''almighty'' Soviet union came..

Why did it belong to you if finns lived there? Lots of people had to move because they didn't want to live in Soviet union.

Because, Leningrad first, could not be by you. Second, We already had you in our grip, and we would've launched another, bettter attack to take you back.
