Warframe is an amazing third-person shooter/hack and slash game. I've been playing since open beta started. It's still in beta. People get the misconception that you have to pay for stuff, but in warframe they sort of almost encourage you not to pay and to just progress through the game to get stuff. There's also a great crafting system - nothing like the feeling of claiming a new warframe suit after days of farming materials and waiting for it to build.
The storyline:
They were called Tenno. Warriors of blade and gun: masters of the Warframe armor. Those that survived the old war were left drifting among the ruins. Now they are needed once more.
The Grineer, with their vast armies, are spreading throughout the solar system. A call echoes across the stars summoning the Tenno to an ancient place. They summon you.
Allow the Lotus to guide you. She has rescued you from your cryostasis chamber and given you a chance to survive. The Grineer will find you; you must be prepared. The Lotus will teach you the ways of the Warframes and the secrets to unlocking their powers.
Come Tenno, you must join the war.
Every warfame you will build has unique stats and abilities, ranging from stealth to healer to even full on tanks. The game is also very teamwork oriented; you are going to die solo if you don't use careful planning and use the environment to your advantage-that's what a team's for in this game: helping you not die.

Not really a review actually; if you want a review I'll write a 3 page review. Instead this is simply an introduction to what warframe is and I'm just expressing that it's an amazing game.
