In 20 years, he struck out 434 times total. His highest season total in strike outs was 40. Those are insanely good stats. He also had a career average of .338, and had 3,141 hits

He came in with Ripken (not the same year but pretty close), retired the same year as Ripken, and got inducted into the HOF the same year as Ripken. He was one of the last players to stay with one team his entire career (at the time.) He was a really good hitter.
