1) Nashville Predators -- Well they're definitely moving up after their 6-0 win to jets. Was only a matter of how much would they move up. I think I did the right thing in moving them up to #1 as they are in a much harder division than the Hawks and have beat actual hard opponents.
2) Chicago Blackhawks -- Well second place isn't that bad, eh?
3) Anaheim Ducks -- Dealt a whooping to the other teams they've faced this recent week. Definitely earning this spot.
4) Winnipeg Jets -- Only moved down 2 spots after 2 loses this week, but those losses came to other good teams, so it isn't really the end of the world.
5) New York Islanders -- Now they have river. Xer and Time have done a tremendous job in making this team so great in their first season.
6) Toronto Maple Leafs -- Ok so kksilver is back but it doesn't matter that much. He doesn't play for them but he coaches and he does a real good job at it. With 305 lmao and all them, they're a competent team.
7) Dallas Stars -- Rumor is they're in for mjkrga. If thats true they'll be pretty set. Good roster, generally produces win.
8) Washington Capitals -- Shocker of the week goes to the Washington Capitals. From worst to top 10. They beat the Bruins AND the Wild? Definitely earned this spot.
9) Minnesota Wild -- Ok, they did lose to Capitals. Still a really good roster and a really good team.
10) Columbus Blue Jackets -- 2nd best new team. They're got some good players on their team. Badcole isn't that bad of a captain.
11) Boston Bruins -- They kinda collapsed. Trading away all of their players then having exernos quit. Not good, not good at all. Still have good players so it can't be that bad for them.
12) Montreal Canadiens -- They might not have a GREAT roster but they still have a pretty decent record. They're not that bad of a team.
13) Buffalo Sabres -- Fairly decent team and the record reflects that.
14) St. Louis Blues -- They have a good record, suprisingly. Maybe they've had an easy schedule so far, but who knows. This one is a pretty bold ranking.
15) Edmonton Oilers -- Decent record, but not a great, consistent, roster.
16) Phoenix Coyotes -- Wake and Lordmyles are back on their team. They're doing fairly decent actually.
17) Calgary Flames -- Yeah, the win against the Ducks was definitely a fluke. They've been pretty downhill since the start of the season.
18) Colorado Avalanche -- Decent roster but their record isn't as high as it should be. Maybe we see a rise in the future?
19) Carolina Hurricanes -- Picking up the pace a little bit.
20) Philadelphia Flyers -- They've somewhat picked up the pace. Still not as good as they should be doing.
21) Los Angeles Kings -- They've continued to impress.
22) New York Rangers -- They haven't done too great in the last week.. Still have some hope in them.
23) Vancouver Canucks -- Decent record decent team.
24) New Jersey Devils -- well...
25) San Jose Sharks -- I have a feeling nobody even reads these descriptions this far down..
26) Pittsburgh Penguins -- Maybe they'll turn around, but who knows.
27) Ottawa Senators -- They try to use players not even on their team and it gets really annoying.
28) Tampa Bay Lightning -- I heard they're on a 2 game win streak but I'm not fully convinced.
29) Florida Panthers -- Really active team and I want so bad for them to do well but they just don't have the skill.. Yet.
30) Detroit Red Wings -- Still at the bottom.
3 STARS OF THE WEEK
1. Novacookiemonster, ajhockeyfan, and noal63 -- Ok, nova isn't leading the league in points for any fluke chance. Looking through the game stats pages, aj hasn't been to many games but hes put up at least 4 points in every game, including one 9 point game. Nova always has the most goals scored, and once put up 8 points in a game. Noal, as usual, putting up enough points to put him at 2nd in scoring in the league. Good past week for these 3, earning them a spot as #1 in 3 stars.
2. Alkioni00alt - He's a great goal scorer. Its hard to find games while looking through the game stats pages where he DOESN'T score a hatty. Good skillset, and definitely taking advantage of the passing skills of all the jets.
3. Gh0strecon49 - In the top 10 in points in hhcl AND he plays defense. Thats pretty impressive. Also his captaining skills are a reason he is placed so high on this list. He's fielded a team capable of repeating cup, and I don't know how he does it. Also thewdonald should be sharing this spot with him, as he does a lot of goal scoring to give gh0st assists.

pretty much all of the top players have been coming straight from the leaderboards points/goals/assists. just because someone is on the leaderboard doesnt mean they are a star player. anyone can get a hatty entirely on tips which requires minimum skill on their part. how do you determine defensive stars? hits dont say enough. this is clearly biased. |

I agree....sil is right with the defensive part but this list is legit..(No I'm not saying that because I'm on a team thats ranked #1...) but this has some good logistics that is like something you'll get from NHL tonight..(I love you Katryn Tappen)
