The ROBLOX Community never seems to improve.
The ROBLOX Moderating team is small.
Exploiters galore, and ODers amuck.
So many misspellings I need to duck.
--Introduction
Poetry aside, we can all agree the ROBLOX Community mostly consists of newbies false reporting everyone, exploiters, ODers, and sailors.
I find the problem with exploiters especially annoying. The majority of them only exploit to torment others, which sickens me. They do not reason. I doubt reporting them actually gets them banned (ROBLOX's small moderating team). They practically render servers useless.
An example of this is Welcome to ROBLOX Building. Literally every server consists of custom bricks and trolls. This ruins the gameplay experience and all-around makes games on ROBLOX miserable to play.
--Body
Unfortunately, because of ROBLOX's small moderating team and the millions of offenders in the ROBLOX community, most just continue to break the rules.
Reports often taken hours or even days to be responded to; consequently, offenders continue to make servers unbearable.
Many games have an in-game kick system which is often very reliable, given that the server is large enough.
However, the offender can very easily join the server again (or another server) and continue to break the rules.
But what if ROBLOX combined the existing moderation system with the In-Game "Vote to Kick" scripts?
Basically, a button goes under the existing "Send Friend Request" and "Report Player" buttons on the player list.
The button says "Start Petition"
A GUI pops up that looks like a report box, that lets the player pick which offense [Insert Offender's name] was committing.
When an offense is selected, another GUI pops up on every player's screen (except the offender).
The GUI asks each player if [Insert Offender's name] actually was [Insert Offense here]. The options the players have are "Yes", "No", and "I don't know".
This feature can be toggled via the pause screen, but is automatically set to default.
If the majority of players say "Yes" in relation to "no" then [Insert Offender's name] now receives the same punishment the current moderation system gives, but faster and more accurately.
This way, the moderators now only have to deal with reports that come from the actual website.
This suggestion may seem harsh, but the ROBLOX Community is a mess.
Please point out any errors in this suggestion (Even spelling and grammatical).
I am open to additional ideas and criticism. |

Good idea. But I think that you should be able to "type" the thing they are doing from a list of words that have been approved by ROBLOX moderators. I always feel like some offenses fit into multiple or no options. |

This is like Vigilantism, but we need extra coverage. |
|

Wow...
That's a good idea! Not cruel at all, giving trouble-makers what they deserve is the best we can hope for on ROBLOX.
Can also be made with some HEAVY, ADVANCED scripting.
BIG Support.

What if a noob/innocent player was playing, and there was a large band of trolls, and they used this? |

@VFX
It is highly unlikely that an entire server would consist of a troll-group.
There would most likely be a couple other random people within said server. |

The "troll-group" idea could happen, I remember in 2010 there was some strange hacker/troll group owned by LordMop, it was called "The Lords Of Roblox". They would basically troll games and groups by hacking. |

That was the smoothest and best chunk of information I have ever read in my whole time in ROBLOX. Suppoer just for that. Thank you. |

Thanks for the supports.
And I did think about the possibility of troll groups when writing this.
In my opinion, the good this could do would outweigh the bad that troll groups could do.
Besides, players can appeal their bans to ROBLOX. And with this system in place, Mods will have more time on their hands, so the likelihood of the appeal being studied and determined will increase. |

I like the idea of being a vigilante.
"If I reply meanly, it's because you've said something stupid. Not that I care if I offended you 80 percent of the time." -Me |

no,
if this is implemented i will get my friends ready to kick innocent people |
|
|

Nice idea, but not all exploiter exploit to torment others. Even player playing game get reported and banned. |
|
|
One troll can mess up rveryone's game-play by just keep clicking make petition and put everyone's name in. |
|
|
I don't care if it's a troll or not. It's like you'll be seeing a troll for every server you go to. Plus the troll could get kicked as well. It's good enough. |

Support. But the troll group thing would make it flawed |
|
|
"good enough" probably isn't going to get this idea published |

@GetTerrorisedBruh
Already explained. Trolls, offenders, and exploiters ruin servers as is, and not every one of them is in a group with others.
I've seen many vote to kick systems abused, but you must look at both sides.
Pros:
•Helps stop offenders on ROBLOX
•Makes moderator's job easier
•More accurate and decisive moderation
Cons
•Can and will be abused by troll groups
•Opinionated jurisdiction
@dontplayforever:
I realize that. That's why I said "most exploiters only exploit to torment others".

While it's a good idea, it's so flawed i just can't say yes to this being real. |
|
|
so you're saying we should ALLOW innocent players to be punished
good idea, OP! |

No support.
Legal actions can make people mad. Survival 303 raiders, Apocalypse Rising bandits and The Disaster Games killers aren't breaking any rules, but they are ending up making people angry. This is why we can script. If a creator wants this system he makes a script for it or gets one from free models. |
