Hi!
I'm Lilly.
What I'm here to talk about today is an idea for the Personal Build Server delete tool.
We all know with the stamper tool we can make GIANT things with just 1 click and hitting the C button on our keyboard, correct?
Well, what if someone accidentally spams the terrain.. or.. purposely?
Unfortunately if someone does this it takes hours to delete because with the delete tool you can only delete one block at a time.
So here is my proposal, we should have it so that you can mass-delete terrain as you can mass-place terrain.. It would make the lives of PBS builders so much easier.
Thanks. |

Of course, nobody reads it or cares as usual, gg. |

Moderately not good implement.
The PBS Stamper is designed to place voxel-units ("Blocks"). These typically replace Empty voxel-units but cannot be placed (w/o dragging) inside full voxel-units.
The drag system works as so:
You can click and hold. This changes (??) from SetCell to SetCells, which uses regions instead of blocks. In order to set region "positions", one is to drag from point A to point B (establishing an "X" variable), optionally dragging from point B to point C (establishing a "Z" variable), etc.
Because we are not magic 4 dimensional spaghetti demons, we do not have direct control over 3D space. Therefore, you must drag onto a block (or the XZ plane) because empty blocks are everywhere and would prevent building. Additionally, you must drag ONTO, not into, a block (due to camera issues).
However, you are not actually required to have point B inside the 6 "lines" of region definition. This is what makes delete tool regions moderately plausible. Nor are you required to have point C inside the 4 lines of region definition, nor point D inside the 2 lines of region definition. Magic does it for you.
I can confirm this is scriptable.
Support, this would be an useful building tool addition. |

I was building a big castle, but these giant hills were in the way, If I used the 'crater' tool, I would ruin the entire thing and it would take forever to fix, that's why I want this mass delete option implemented. |
