How do you animate tools

I haven't played roblox for 4 years and I noticed that you can animate stuff now. How would one animate tools for example swords guns etc.

I think the animations are only for running and stuff. There aren't many people who have gone into full dev mode with working with animations, so I am not sure what people will do with it yet. I hate the LGBT. Those laser guided battle tanks are just too damn powerful.
