In clan history, there has been many a time where alliances have been formed with official groups to enforce them (Rising Wings Initiative, GSC, UN, Cryptex League, The Vaktovian Dominion, etc.). I recently saw that the Tri-Clan alliance formed between FEAR, RSF, and UCR, which sparked my interest in this topic. Do you think these kinds of alliances would still be prevalent/beneficial in a modern clan world? (Perhaps some modern examples besides the Tri-Clan?) Discuss. ~//TCC Board of Directors\\~

I think those clans are a waste of time unless trying to spark a ro-war. "If you reminisce in the past you grant yourself no future." -Dimste

I understand the whole instigating part about these kinds of clans, I saw it first hand. Though, other than that, if done right could these clans possibly form better collaboration between groups instead of just straight-up chaos. This is implying the alliance is small enough to manage appropriately, though. ~//TCC Board of Directors\\~

3 clans would be my max amount of allied clans in a coalition. UN or GSC were pretty much doomed because there was no way that many clans would support each other. Triforce ( TGI, SC, UAF ) back in the day was a reigning and dominant force simply because those three clans had great chemistry and attended to one another.

@Dystra I thought that, too. It's a great way to forge friendships in a place that is very divided, as long as it is maintained for a long enough time. Though, I wonder why it isn't done as often as I thin it would. ~//TCC Board of Directors\\~

Too many clans don't realize how effective allies can be. The only reason most superclans have allies is so they look a lot more intimidating than they actually are. In other words, their allies are trophies.

@Dys I agree. Alliances are very helpful, though I do remember a time when I had the mentality that an alliance was essentially a huge united military. Cryptex League was my alliance group, btw. Had a combined member count of about 9.6k over 20 clans back in late 2011. Still can't believe that to this day. ~//TCC Board of Directors\\~
