Every Summer I've decided to hold a yearly sword tournament where the winner of it all gets 1k robux from my own pocket, or just a hat/gear/face worth 1k+ since we all hate roblox tax and don't want robux to be lost in the system.
Keep in mind I plan on making this a very big tournament that will go on over a period of days, so that many people can participate. I'll explain the system the tournament will go by and why.
For example let's say that my sword fighting style can kill "player 1", but "player 2" can kill me, does that make player 2 better than both me and player 1? No! player 1 happens to have a style that beats player 2! So the point I'm making is that there's always a food chain that loops around in circles when it comes to sword fighting, and it's very hard to have one thing clearly at the top (aka a winner).
That's why I've decided that instead of doing an elimination for the tournament and knock someone out that could actually have gotten really far, the tournament will be a "duel win ratio" tournament where each duelist will fight each duelist, and we'll see who has the most duel wins to determine the champion. That way it can be more clear who has the best overall style which also translates to who the better sword fighter is. That way we can say Player 1 is better than me even though I can beat him, because player 1 can also beat players 2-10 and I can't.
Even if you're not BC I still recommend fighting in the tournament since if this get's big enough then it could lead to some serious bragging rights.
The tournament will look something like this; to avoid flooding a server with 30 people and having a laggy dueling server that roblox latency can't actually support, over a period of days we will host a lot of 1 on 1 duels with the entered sword fighters. All of the duel winnings will be kept track of and hopefully every person will get an equal amount of duels with just about every competitor.

Now as for requirements for getting in, I'm looking to have actual sword duelists here instead of a lot of nameless people who can't sword fight for their lives. So as far as requirements go, I'm thinking of having the competitors beat official people that are somewhat easy but will still root out the weaker players.
So what do you guys think? Please criticize what you think are the good or bad ideas. I'll also be looking for referees that are interested in just watching/healing/recording events with your mind and witnessing/calling out things against common honorable code
