Two things;
I. This won't put a stop to the "Builderman told me how to get unlimited ROBLOX! Just comment this on five hats and fiver gears, log out and log back in!" comments. Those have been around since the start of ROBLOX, and always will be. So don't promise something you can't fix.
II. Also, just a correction. Your mind was probably elsewhere when you were making this post, heh. This really won't "reduce the amount of scamming" as you said. Scamming is when either an item or form of currency leaves your person, and you receive nothing in return.
This will improve account safety. That's all.

I am not a victim, but I would not like to be. I know 2 people who got hacked, but they didn't buy anything so it was kind of for them. I support!! Please do this roblox! |

I got a message from someone saying, "Hi I'm new. Check out this website,
(It was a website for unlimited robux)"
My brother got a message from someone saying
"Hey alphabeta27! You and (another user I forget it) have been hanging out with me for over the past few weeks! (And then it said something else..... My bro didn't even hang out with them!)"
I don't have a phone though. My parents didn't make this account for me because me brother introduced me to roblox. I wish we could do a different verification step 2? |

Support all the way! I've gotten at least ten messages from those scammers stating things like: "Are you addicted to ROBLOX? Hehe I am I've been on for the last ten hours!" And then at the end it would be like: "Unlimited ROBUX." With a link on it. |

I've worked in Networking and Programing as a career. I smell scams from a mile away. Gotten two PM asking "Hey what's your favorite game on ROBLOX" Follow by link that would load any PC with Mal ware and other sorts of bad stuff. |

Online dictionary says scam means "A fraudulent business scheme; a swindle."
And it says a "swindle" is "use deception to deprive (someone) of money or possessions." They're stealing your account which should be your property, so it is a scam

This just adds extra security.

Er, that's the point? Why is extra security insignificant? How would you like it if you got hacked?

Actually, Google Authenticator is amazing.
Even if someone took the files for my authenticator if I had enabled encryption they would be unable to use it. If I gave someone a code from Authenticator and my word then they would have 10 seconds to enter the code before it became invalid. In order for there to even BE a code to enter, I need to press the button on my authenticator. Even if you stole my laptop, you can set a word to open the program.
Accounts with Authenticator are pretty much unbreakable and there's not really any drawbacks. The only people who would reasonably not want this are the thieves.
