I think its about time this happens. ROBLOX only wants money for there 'economy', so why not pay-to-play? With all the money coming in, they could have cheaper hats and possibly no pricefloors. Money from Market Fee's, Members, and BC will get them ALOT of money. And, lets be honest, ROBLOX is forming itself for users to pay to enjoy the game.

NBCers still have plenty of purpose. We can play almost any game, make our own game, buy things (even if it takes longer), and many more things than that.

Um.. they make devs money by playing games? And they view ads.
Seriously, all those thousands of players you see on the front page would be gone if ROBLOX became P2P.
The devs need the money for:
1. Uploading sounds
2. Exchanging their robux for RL money, which, in turn, gives them more of a reason to create good games on ROBLOX. |

And those are no longer earning a big profit.
The only reason those big franchises earn money is because they keep creating new games (with the exception of Minecraft). If you look at their games individually, you'll realize they sooner or later stop earning them profit.
Does anyone really still buy GTA 3? How about the first COD? I bet if there was only one of each of those games, profits would be down. |

Lets see, this would be stupid, ugh it's free to play cause its not exactly a VERY WELL DEVELOPED GAME, REGULAR PEOPLE MAKE THE GAME EHICH MEANS THE GAMES ARE A LOWER QUALITY THEN SAY A DECENT INDIE GAME, also unless you only needed to buy the pay to play once only 10% of current day player base would stay! ALSO NBCs HAVE THE BASIC NEEDS TO PLAY ROBLOX, play most games, make a single game AAAANNND to buy clothing even though it takes longer, also NBCs look at ads and they also give developers a reason to make high quality games. |
