Bricks Flashing Once?

Call me crazy, but I've been trying to recreate Disney Lands' World Of Color. I've done a similar project before, but that was way back then and I'm not even sure which game I built over it. I know how to make bricks flash and all, but I can't seem to make it so the brick flashes once and doesn't flash again until the server is restarted. Does anyone have any idea, or am I a lost cause?
