So here's the idea: In order for larger games to be playable on weaker PCs, I was thinking about perhaps making a lower quality version of a map and then having the player select a quality level from a GUI. Based on the quality level, a copy of whatever level map they selected will be copied into their camera, and the workspace will only host a much less detailed version of the map that can actually be interacted with. Basically sort of client side meshes. Few questions:
Would this even work?
If so, where would the objects be placed?
Is there another way of doing this?
