The thread itself is fine. However, things get problematic when people start blindly referencing it, and using it as a reason to not support an otherwise good idea.
Far too many legitimate ideas are shot down because some interpret them as being WNTS. Others are shot down because people don't realize they're WNTS for being suggested too often (which means it is a popular idea and Roblox may actually add it).
People too often simply list "WNTS" as a reason to not support, so here is my suggestion:
Add to WNTS a passage which states, "Although these are topics which you should not post, WNTS is only a guideline. If you see something posted that is on WNTS, say so to the original poster, but do not use that a reason to not support. Instead, give specific reasons for why you do not support the idea."

Yes. This is something very VERY needed. There are also a lot of people who either post things off topic, or post things that owners of games could easily do. To the second problem, I would suggest having that person PM the game owner directly or leave a comment at the game suggesting what they want added. But if they them selves are the game owner, either they get some help or they're out of luck, so do that not post it here. But yeah, support.

I think that if i posted a WNTS thread such as "get rid of BC" and i made some win/win solution, it shouldn't be in it!
In this point, i ma total support.
However, just saying WNTS proves that the replier did not do any responsibility to that suggestion at all. |

Most things that get WNTS are because they are literally WNTS, not to mention, that is the ultimate reason of why it's not a good idea. It's not because the idea was bad, good, or in-between, it's either not going to be added, or it's already been out there. Or obviously it's just people suggesting things literally not to suggest. |

What about custom BC? Some people interpret that as being a new type of BC, but is still something that many people want, and could be a win-win.

We use WNTS not because it is only a bad idea (though, most of them are).
We use it because we know it will never happen, ROBLOX doesn't support it and likely won't even click on the thread if it is very obvious. At that point, it really becomes useless to support it any further.

WNTS is broken into 2 categories. "Not Gonna Happen" is stuff like giving out free robux.
"Suggested Too Often" is ideas that Roblox knows there is an interest for. Many ideas are improvements or variations on parts of this second part of WNTS. |

It is a new type of BC, it's "custom". Not to mention it's over suggested. |

By new BC they mean stuff like "Gold BC" which simply takes current BC features and augments them. Custom BC is down a different path; it's more thinking outside the box, if you will.
Being over suggested is not a criticism of an idea. It means that there is significant desire for such an idea to be added. However, over suggested ideas are on WNTS because Roblox is aware of the interest and does not need more of the same post. But Custom BC is not your typical new BC suggestion. |
