So, in Ohio, the new school year format runs by hours instead of days. You have to schedule no less than 1,001 hours (or 1,000 I forget). Well, because of this, my school got rid of 2-hour delays so we can have more snow days. We still have the same amount of days as last year (178). If you take 178 and multiply it by 7, you get 1,246. Take 245 and divide it by 7, and you get 35 extra days we are going to school. I mean, why in THE hell would we need 35 snow days?
