As most people know, Playerpoints were introduced to ROBLOX to help show achievement, but in reality they're kinda useless at the moment...
Sooo what if you could trade in Playerpoints for Robux? Like say for all of those players with crap tons of them could trade in 1000 Playerpoints for 1 Robux or something around those lines. It'd be a pretty good use for them plus a lot of ROBLOXians would actually have a good way to get Robux without having to pay money or wait a long time to get enough Tix to trade in.
So what do you guys think? Should ROBLOX let you trade in Playerpoints for Robux?

I think they said its baicly a no go on trading them in for anything.
There useless but doods are ADDICTED to them so the game creators thought ogm if i added player points EVERYONE WOULD COME OGM!! ;-; |

Because people who have millions of player points could cash them in for possible thousands of robux and the overall value of robux would plummet

Also, there are plenty of other ways to earn robux and tix without paying real money or waiting a long time. For instance, you could make a game. You get one ticket every time someone visits your game, and you get robux whenever you sell gamepasses or developer products. Also, you can profit from trading currency, or even profiting from limiteds that come out. |

I'm not a big fan. Player points are not really meant to be currency. I think it's better to focus on other things that would give player points more purpose. One idea would be allowing creators to know how many total player points a player in their game has so they can use it to affect gameplay in some way. Another option would be automatic ranking in groups based on player points. As it stands, points are a great concept even without a true point to them. Think about how many games you've played where your goal is to acquire points, which were completely useless. Their main purpose is to give game builders a way to create incentive in their game, and it works. Getting player points through games allows players without any robux/tix to create a bank of player points they can use to advertise their game. |
