If ROBLOX wants to be more realistic then I reckon that we should create 3D studs. Same goes for material like metal, grass and wood. To disable this, simply turn your graphics down.

I can't really think of an issue for this. Support. I have nothing against GUI's.

Support, if they make high detail wood planks and cobblestone, why not make other high quality textures? It should be a separate texture though, maybe called RealPlastic or something like that. Idk, I suck with names.

If they wont collide with players, it can be kind of confusing and making it hard for GM's (Game maker's) to build without those studs in the way.

I suppose it could just be an option when adding a terrain to a brick or just by toggling it in properties? I have nothing against GUI's.

Thanks for supports. Agent, actually they do if you look back at ROBLOX from 2006.

@Ghostie, you're wrong. "Bring back the old studs. (No. Stop asking.)" This is not bringing back the old studs, this is improving our current. So it isn't on WNTS. @Ulra How is this easy to build? Give me your method

Make a part in the shape of a stud and place them where you need them. It's better than making every stud look ugly using your method. ~Percussionist Skills~

make your stud and put it in serverstorage. for i = 1, script.Parent.Position.X do for j = 1, script.Parent.Position.Z do stud = game.ServerStorage.Stud:Clone() stud.Parent = workspace stud.Position = Vector3.new(i, script.Parent.Position.Y, j) end end

3D materials would be ech. They're already bumpmapped and stuff. Parallax mapping could work, But actual 3D materials is too far, not to mention nigh impossible without DX11 and a great computer. Anyway, look up Parallax mapping. It's actually a method that could work in place of this. Looks a little weird up close, but it should do the job I guess. So, support if you tone down from actual 3D material to parallax mapped material. ily bae <33
