If you have more than 1 of the same limited, the 2nd and beyond will require you to put it on sale.
Reasons? Discourages hoarding.
If you refuse to sell, all extra copies of the limited you have will be taken away and you will only keep one copy of that limited item.
The items that are taken away will be added to stock.

I'm making some change to suggestion.
There'll be a limit to how many copies you can own. If you try to buy more, it will error and tell you that you can't buy more.
A limit of 3 of the same limiteds per user, perhaps? |

Some people would try to hoard up limiteds and never even sell them.
One user has 13 copies of the same item and NONE of them are on sale! What's the point of having more than one if you don't even plan to sell them?
I'm NOT greedy. I only buy 1 copy of the item. |

you know how many people who are fans of merely would be angry at the Roblox community
There is NO PROBLEM OF HOARDING IT INFACTS HELPS THE VALUE OF THE ITEM

That's 100% unfair to the players it would affect. You are allowed to buy multiple copies of an item. As long as you have the money and want it, it is yours fair and square. Forcing users to get rid of the items within a certain time period will do nothing but make people mad. |

I know this is a late to post but the reason why some people need to hoard is to profit. If you saw a new item that has a potential and you only one then it couldn't be profitable as it is only one. When you hoard them and it all raised, there is a chance for you to get more RAP and profit to trade it with higher items that you can now match.
And if they don't want to sell it, that is there opinion as they own the hoard they have made. It makes the items rarer, without hoards an item with big stock would not be still rare unless the account with a single item will be banned due to disabiding the rules.
It will take a large amount of time for it then to be rare. I don't support this idea as hoarding also can affect the economy big time. Don't say that he has 20 or 30 of it what he will be doing to it. It is his choice. Before posting about an idea to put an anti against a major thing for the economy. Just analyze what will be the results and what can happen.

I must be the only person to support this other than OP, but think of it this way: You get home from school and roblox+ notifies you of the existence of a new limited, you go to buy it and find out that the 400 stock is completely depleted after 40 people each bought 10, nobody is selling them and the only reason they have them is to get more RAP and therefore (I believe, no expert on trading system) get more respect. People are getting cheated out of limited's they can afford and buy but people hoard them just for RAP and unlucky people are unable to get it. Oh, and just because you're in the time zone where all limiteds get released when you're at home, doesn't mean everyone is and some are unable to get it.

From what I can see, you've never bought a limited - let me tell you how it works.
A user cannot buy more than 1 of the limited till it either goes offsale or runs out of stock. Once the limited does either, it will be open for private sales.
In private sales, you can buy as many as you want.
The OP wants to ban the hoarding of private sale limiteds. |
