Position Summary: A Supervisor is a middle management position in Athletes Corner. Their primary focus is to oversee the day to day operations in Home Store. The number of Supervisors will be based off of the number of employed Store Workers. They also begin to obtain advance knowledge about administrative tasks. Reports to: Senior Management The Supervisor reports to many ranks such as COO, CEO, CDO, CFO, CBoD, and BoD, but they should report to Supervisors when at stores. The Supervisors forwards issues, major clients, and complex questions to Senior Management in stores. Qualities that make a Successful Supervisor: • Joyful. A Supervisors approaches customers in a happy manner therefore creating a welcoming environment for customers. • Intelligent. A Supervisor is expected to know a lot about Athletes Corner. This makes helping a customer with questions a whole lot easier. • Eager to Help. A Supervisor who wants to help makes the Athletes Corner customer service system efficient. • Love to use Grammar (OPTIONAL). This only helps to make sure a customer understands what a Supervisor is saying, but it is not required. General Responsibilities of a Supervisor include: • Training of Sales Associates • Assist Customers in finding clothes. • Answering general questions about Athletes Corner. • Working behind the Customer Service Counter to assist customers. • Recommending clothes for customers. • Welcoming Customers to Athletes Corner. • Using catalog to provide customers with links to clothes in the case of an in-game glitch. (PREFFERED, but NOT REQUIRED) Additional (OPTIONAL) Responsibilities of a Supervisor include: • Logging hours of work. • Logging sales made. General Knowledge of a Supervisor includes: • Understanding of layout of store. • Understanding of Athletes Corner background. • Understanding of Athletes Corner newest item promotion. • Understanding of responsibility of each employee rank. • Understanding of clothing business. Uniform of a Supervisor: We do not have a specific uniform, but we expect you to look professional. We also expect you wear something made by Athletes Corner. Hours of a Supervisor: There are no specific hours of a Supervisor. We expect you to come on as often as possible. We don’t wish for your work to interfere with your real life. You should work when you feel it is possible. We do hope you remain active with our firm though. Training Format: These are the basic layouts for respect, kindness, determination, and patience. It’s required that all employees address customers as Sir or Ma’am, regardless of their relationship outside of Athletes Corner. While on duty we ask that you keep an optimistic attitude. Always try to encourage your co-workers. Do your best to help each customer. Please don’t stand around and watch customers walk by, greet them and offer your assistance. Always try to provide the best of care to our customers. Employees are not asked to acknowledge customer insults but are requested to tolerate them. If you are dealing with a difficult customer, please inform an admin. Never insult or argue with a customer. Instead, do your best to connect with our customers. After you’ve prepared an Intern all these basics concepts along with extras that might’ve been left out, please report the following to me: • Interns Name • Why you believe s/he is ready • What you taught them Remember, the success of the store is based off how well you show our customers service.
