Hi, Fe/He/We-Males. Also, might I just say hello any admin reading this shocker of an idea. I was surprised it wasn't suggested sooner. Since your on this type of role on making ROBLOX less... crap.(Not to say ROBLOX isn't fantastic, I simply notice your improving the not so fantastic aspects of it).
I'd like an option to make my inventory private to other people. I upload decals, shirts, models that I work quite hard on in Studio, Photoshop e.c.t. Then you have that annoying uncreative noob who is 11 and thinks if he writes his/her/its name on it, it becomes theirs.
Simple. Make a private option, reduce 3rd party sellers, poachers(if you will), bootleggers. Simple. Make. A. Private. Option.

Both sides were considered. My side: I made cool decals, they get copied, I don't like that, make a private option. The noobs side: He made cool decals, I'll copy, take credit for his work, because it was public. |

How do you expect the mods to implement this?
How do you want it formatted?
What specifics do you want for the "private"?
- If it just for you, why bother uploading? If is a buy-in, then this will end the same as the "free/paid models" debate.
Also, if you don't want someone to copy a virtual shirt, on a virtual game, for virtual money which has very little to no real legal tender, what is the point? Sure it might be rude, but who cares that an eleven year old... HAS AN AVATAR WITH THE SAME SHIRT. SCARY.

What about when I make textures and decals, and delete them and implement them into an amazing game, that some noob is just going to copy and speed hack the game? How about I copy all your decals and say there all mine, and I get noticed for it, then what? |
