Are you attempting to insert a custom made script? Or are you trying to insert a brand new one that you created from Insert tab?

By the way, I highly recommend doing script business on Edit Mode. |

If you do: Insert --> Object --> Script then make sure that you spell "Script" right. It is also case-sensitive, that means that S has to be capitalized! I hope that helps. |
