Season will begin on 8/25. Here's how it will work:
At a certain time in the day that I will post for each day, I will simulate the games for that day. Each team plays once a day. I will be keeping player stats for the games and update this thread with game scores.
If you have any trades or line changes to enter, PM them to me before this otherwise they wont go in until after all the games are played. You can trade both players and draft picks. If your team needs a player after a trade, I will fill in the spot with a free agent.
There will be a draft next season which will have 2 rounds, so you can trade for or away either of those picks. It will follow the same rules as the draft we had for this season.
For the playoffs, it will be the top 3 teams from each conference go to the playoffs. The conference champions will get a bye to the semi-finals. Each series will be best of 5.
Tiebreakers will be by most regulation and OT wins (not including shootout wins), then by goal differential if there is a tie in that. |

btw, I might do more than 1 game a day to try and speed this season up so I can get the season done before nhl 15 comes out. I told my brother that I would give him the xbox 360 for college once I got nhl 15 for xbox one so I'd like to get the season done before then and not have to move all the rosters over to nhl 15 midway through the season. |
