It depends. Do you like the SNES controller's colorful look? If so, get a white normal New 3DS. If you don't really care, get the XL. I know I'm going to trade in my 3DS XL for a New 3DS XL when it comes out. Remember, kids. Always wash your hands after washing your hands.

I think it's a good move and I bet there's going to be amazing games for it, but I am scratching my head wondering WHY THE HECK didn't add those things to begin with. Yes they did the same thing with the DSi, but it was a DS with a camera that doesn't have extra power.

Really hope this thing doesn't kill the old 3DS, Nintendo has been making really bad decisions for a while now and this would just add to the list. Although I would probably buy one, I would get the XL.
