WHITE HOUSE-
Today, this country has impressed more than I've ever seen before. We stood strong while this country's very existence was threatened, and we overcame our enemies. We did what others could not. We endured. This country has come a long way from when I began here 5 years ago. We will never be perfect, and I've learned to understand that. But I'm not looking to achieve perfection; I'm looking to get as close to it as possible with the support of the American people. Our agencies reform, our cities grow in size, our Courts and Legislature develop and our numbers increase. This is not a result of my directives, or the men and women in our Cabinet; this is a result of you. For, without you, the American people, this country has nothing. Not businessmen and women, not agency members and reviewers, not people to elect our Congressman and Presidents, not protesters who tell us their opinion, we have nothing. So thank you. Thank you, for showing me today, that it's worth it. That we've made it this far, and that we can keep going.
The American people will move mountains no matter the size; I'm just here to tell you which direction to push.
Signed,
President Circencas |
